Association of Professional Reserve Analysts (APRA) is the world's trade organization for reserve study professionals.   APRA hosts an annual Symposium for continuing education, provides credentialing and produces the APRA Advisor newsletter that is circulated to thousands of potential reserve study customers. 
 

APRA Institute

APRA launched formal education for reserve study providers in 2011.  PRA (Professional Reserve Analyst) members of APRA are required to complete 8 Continuing Education Credits per year to maintain the PRA credential.  The credits can be achieved several ways:

  1. APRA Symposium 8 credits
  2. APRA Webinars (4 webinars of 90 minutes each; schedule to be announced:  3 credits each
  3. Equivalent Education related to reserve study work provided by others.  Must be pre-approved by the APRA Institute Committee which will review each request and approve appropriate number of credits.

APRA Symposium

Each year, APRA hosts a Symposium for reserve study professionals.  May 5-6, 2012 features a day and half of cutting edge education and networking with peers in incomparable Las Vegas.  Those holding APRA's prestigious PRA (Professional Reserve Analyst) credential earn 8 Continuing Education credits.  For information and registration see 2012 Symposium Brochure
