APRA is offering a 3‑hour continuing education course designed to strengthen reserve study funding literacy for both Nevada community managers (CCICH-accredited) and APRA members seeking PRA CE credit.
CE.0550000-CAM RESERVE STUDY FINANCIAL CONSIDERATIONS Date: Wednesday, 03/25/2026 Start Time: 9:00 AM PDT Length of class: 3 Hour Class through Zoom APRA (Association of Professional Reserve Analysts) QUESTIONS AND RSVP: Becca@ComplexSolutionsLtd.com
Session Description: Earn 3 hours of CE with APRA’s fast-paced Reserve Study Financial Considerations course—built to help you confidently explain (and defend) reserve funding recommendations. We’ll break down the 30‑year funding plan into practical budgeting terms (beginning balance, contributions, expenditures, interest, and inflation), compare Baseline/Threshold/Fully Funded goals, and show how Component vs. Cash Flow methods drive the numbers. You’ll also get a candid, standards-based look at Percent Funded—how it’s calculated, why it often misleads, and what to focus on instead (especially contribution growth and adequacy).
Speakers: Mike McDermott, RS, PRA, NV RSS #47 Rob Forney, PRA, NV RSS #4
QUESTIONS AND RSVP: Becca@ComplexSolutionsLtd.com
