ANNUAL MEETING INFORMATION

If you are an active member of APRA you will receive a an additional notice that will allow you to assign a proxy for your vote.  This is important so APRA can make sure that the voting quorum for the Annual Meeting is met.  The proxy assignment email will be sent next week.

CALL FOR BOARD MEMBER NOMINATIONS

After years of service to the APRA Board of Directors, Megan Konecny has stepped down leaving a vacancy to be filled.  The board is empowered to appoint a PRA member to fill the remainder of Megan’s term which ends in May 2025.

What is required of directors of the board?

1. Must be a PRA in good standing (have completed required continuing education and current annual fees paid in full)
2. Attend quarterly board meetings via Zoom. Meetings are one hour in length.
3. Attend special meetings called by the President as needed (rare)
4. Be available for committee work (like education, Symposium planning, legislative initiatives)

If you are qualified and interested in serving on the APRA board, please express your interest by emailing apra@bowermanagementservices.com by no later than May 2, 2024 with the information below.

SYMPOSIUM FORMAT

The format will be similar to previous years with breakfast starting at 8am and sessions tarting at 9am and running through to 6pm.  There will be a dinner on Saturday night that starts at 7pm.  The dinner is included.

The agenda and sessions are being finalized but the Program Committee is putting together a great program.  Some of the session topics are listed below.

1. Landscaping and Irrigation
   
2. Playground and Splash Pads 
3. HVAC and Cooling Towers in high rise buildings 
   
4. Siding Replacement
5. APRA Reserve Study Standards Committee report and discussion
   **schedule is subject to change
   

The dinner will be at Fogo de Chao.  There are vegetarian options available.  This will be a great ending to the meeting!  Come hungry!!
